The Old School Runescape Leagues are back today with the League II-Trailblazer running through January 6th next year. To celebrate the event, Old School RuneScape teamed up with content creators J1mmy and 9Rain to create one of the strangest music videos to be seen on this side of Gielinor.
Trailblazer is a "alternative and dynamic old school game". Compete as Ironman or Ironwoman in Misthalin and choose regions to unlock as you progress through the competition. You are limited to three choices and none of them are reversed. This means you need to strategically choose where you want to unlock. Otherwise, you will be trapped in a swamp and doomed to repeat the story until early next year.
In the process, you can unlock passive buffs such as artifacts, experience boosts, and drop rate boosts to help you on your boring journey. There is also a HiScore board where you can track your progress and show off to your friends.
There is not much to say about video clips. Another home run from the OSRS legend. The two traveled through Gielinor to find out which location was the best starting area, and ultimately decided to expand as they unlock new areas during the league process. You can check it below.
“Following the success of last year's Twisted League, which has gained incredibly positive feedback from the community and allowed players to immerse themselves in a variety of challenges, we look forward to introducing a new adventure to Old School Leagues II-Trailblazer.” Said Rob Hendry, Senior Producer of Old School RuneScape. “With gameplay improvements, improvements and additions, we are confident that both the community and newcomers will have an exciting time in the Trailblazer League.”
